Sarah Jerauld
Board Member
Sarah brings a unique blend of lived experience, and heartfelt advocacy to the Hands and Feet Board of Directors. She is a former foster mom who ultimately adopted through foster care. Her journey with Hands and Feet began when she helped develop the Waves of Healing program—an initiative inspired by her deep passion for ensuring that children coming out of foster care and into adoption have access to high-quality mental health services to process and recover from trauma.
A graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Sarah has built a diverse clinical career. She has served Veterans at the VA in hospice and medical-surgical units, cared for children in both pediatrics and pediatric intensive care, and worked in an outpatient surgical center. Today, she serves as a consultant, applying her clinical knowledge to support legal teams. Sarah is also a longtime member of her church, where she is actively involved in leadership.
Sarah brings real-life experience and a heart for service to her role on the board. Beyond her professional and volunteer roles she loves spending time with her husband and three daughters, often traveling, hiking, or exploring national parks together.
